EDIT: I did love Castiel telling Dean how they sieged Hell to get to him, but it took them a few decades.

Good God, all the angel stuff bothered me so much, and so did this new revelation about Dean. I just don't think Dean needs any more angst.

And I'm with you about Sam. I want Sam to still be special, to matter to the storyline.

Also, fandom is probably going to hate Sam all over again and then I'll be very sad ;_;

And yes, I think I'd love Sam no matter what he did. Even though if he were evil I'd grieve for the compassionate, gorgeous, sweet Sam from season one.

Still, though, those powers are hot like burning -- I think it's partly the sexy self-confidence. When Sam is using his powers, he OWNS his skin, and himself, and he FEELS powerful and thus he stands up straighter, is cockier, just. Gorgeous. I love it!

But I WISH THEY'D LAY OFF THE DEAN-ANGST ALREADY. Enough with Dean crying like a little baby...

Okay, so the only reason I was happy tonight was due to the blood-drinking stuffs, and even then I was pointedly ignoring the giant plot-holes that were associated with that (like the other psy-kids not needing it, and how it started in the first place). But all the angel stuff was pretty freaking boring.

And all the "Cas" stuff was bothering me too. Come on, already. His name is CASTIEL. And where the hell was Sam at the end there? I kept waiting for them to pan over to him sleeping or something, but he was just not there. Where were the brother moments in this episode? They shared two scenes together while conscious, and even then the one scene where they were alone together they were talking about Dean's eternal angst. And now we have more Dean-angst.

BUT IN MORE POSITIVE NEWS, SAM DRINKS DEMON BLOOD, AND THAT MAKES TODAY WIN IF FOR NOTHING ELSE!!!

I wrote my own reaction post already, but I will say again:
Poor Dean! and Holy shit Sam!

Watching Sam slam people into walls and kill with his mind will NEVER EVER GET OLD!

The only explanation I can come up with regarding Sam's need for more demon blood (and again this only works I think if Ruby is indeed a follower of Azazel) is that with the other kids, Azazel's existence helped their powers advance. Either that, or he fed them more blood once they were ready to accept his gift.
Without Azazel, someone had to complete the process, and that someone is Azazel's follower, Ruby.

I don't think ruby;s intentions are good AT ALL. Her following Azazel makes a lot of sense. Especially if Azazel and Lilith were vying for power.

I was VERY MUCH ON BOARD with having my Castiel back so much in this episode (even if no one should be allowed to call him Cas save Dean). HOWEVER. WHILE I GET THAT DEAN IS ALL HARMED AND ANGSTY AT THE END, did they REALLY have to make him a whiny, crying liddle bitch again? REALLY? ARGH. Gimme some bravado again Dean, PLEASE.

Also, I wanted Sam to tell Cas to stay the fuck away from his brother or else he'd kill himself an angel. That would have been hot :) and then they could have sex.

That was the greatest moment of today. Seriously, it was so fantastic, and then they had to RUIN it with excessive CAS-calling and then whiny-Dean.

I vote that next time, Sam and Castiel just have some sex. I mean, Sam can drink angel!blood to counter-act the demon!blood, yes? *has a brand-new freaking kink!*
