SPN: "No Rest For the Wicked"

I was right about nothing beating "Devil's Trap", this episode really didn't have anything that totally suprised me.

+ Can my love for Bobby grow any more? Bobby is win, awesomesauce, awesomecakes, fantastic and FAMILY. Awwwwww, I loved him telling Dean family doesn't just mean blood, and taking a part out of the Impala so it wouldn't start ^.^

+ Dean and Sam's talk about them being each others weakness, I expected making out right there.

+ Jared and Jensen were looking particularly handsome this episode and the acting was spot on.

+ The stealing of Ruby's knife

+ Ruby telling Sam that he could kill Lilith with a thought and that's why she's scared. Cue Lucifer!Sam because I can't believe Azazel's blood alone would make a human that powerful.

+ Dean calling Ruby "slutty Yoda" and Sam that she's the Miss Universe of lying skanks.

+ What Lilith does for fun

- I totally saw Lilith possessing Ruby coming

+ Lilith kissing Sam. Cue Lilith/Samael.

+ Lilith's powers having no effect on Sam, but see, all she has to do is KNIFE SAM IN THE BACK, it worked for Jake o.0

+ Liked her being even more scared after that though.

+ Dean in Hell. So that's his Hell huh? And calling for Sam!

So Season 4...will Dean be a demon reanimating his own corpse that Sam kept on ice for him? Is Sam the High Demon King? I want Season 4.

Oh, and since Ruby is out of Katie Cassidy's body, think they'll get a new actress to play Ruby? Or did Lilith just trap her further in that body?

I've said it before somewhere.... Demigod!Sam rocks. Mary knew yellow eyes... maybe 'too' well. Season four where are you?

I want Sam to be something major, I mean he has to be, you know? Or they might to a human's inherit everything, Azazel woke up God's potential in humanity, etc.

Demon-king!Sam would be more interesting.

Also, I was bummed out throughout the episode cos hello, lover's histrionics and still... not even a single kiss.

No major shocks and I got so bored throughout, I muted them halfway just to figure out the dialogue. THAT was fun.

What made it salvageable tho?

EXACTYL! and when the clock was tolling midnight I was just WAITING for their last hug. Waited for it! I mean, Dean was about to DIE and go to HELL and LEAVE SAM, and they coulnd't have their one last embrace? ;_; BOYS!

Maybe it's one of those delayed reaction things... I have to laugh about the finale or I'll just be really pissed off again at how it ended. *nods*

lol :) Glad it had you laughing after the finale. Cuz I mean, if something as simple as a knifing or a lamp cord is so effective at killing Sam, why not do that when mega- supernatural mojo fails?

The simplest solution and all that.

Or what if Sam really can't die? And only the other kids like him could kill each other? That why Azazel had his little competition? Hmmm...

I think Lilith said something about kicking her out of that body, didn't she? That she was far away somewhere else now? Who knows. I just chose to interpret that as Ruby being DEADIFIED and cheered. ^__^.

I wanted to SMACK Sam, though. If he had been a leeeeettle quicker on the stabbing of her and not gone and done it all dramatic-like, he may have actually knifed the bitch. Ah, well.

Here's looking forward and having higher hopes for next season. In Kripke's defense, I remember reading an article where apparently the CW had promised all kinds of mad money for the finale and they had made SUPER PLANZ, only to be told after the writer's strike that by mad money, they meant "the same budget as always and mebbe a little less". *shrugs* I get the feeling that Kripke is much better than what his network allows, poor thing.

*snickers* Sam keeping Dean's corpse on ice. That's NAUGHTY. *sniggers*

I think the CW is cutting the budget again for S4 aren't they? SPN is what? The third highest rated show on their network and that's with them NOT promoting it worth anyting >.< Networks are evil and stunt creativity.

No, no, Ruby will go into Dean's body and keep it alive until they can get Dean out. And being demonized will keep it from getting all putrified and crap.

100% agreement on this ep. Just... too much talking, not enough other stuff. And where did Bobby go at the end?

That is an awesome idea really. And would definitely solve the Dean's-rotting-body problem.

Yeah, there was really less action than the last two seasons, this finale was the blandest I must say.

And Bobby...I wondered too. Was he in the house with them at the end? Maybe he stayed with the family?
