Supernatural's "Hunted"

Could that secret have been...

...any more original?

I'm kind of disappointed honestly. The whole 'Sam might turn evil' was the consensus I believe, but what else could it have been? Sammy is part of a demon army, okay. Kind of had the Darth Vader inkling.

But.

What about the 4 children who had their mom's toasted?

Sam. Max. And two others.

2 dead. 2 alive.

Were they chosen to be Generals or something?

That's the only thing left to find out. And is John really Sam's father? How the did these kids get these powers?

And Gordon!

Nice to see him again and can I just say that I absolutely loved how Sam got him. lol. Having the cops show up with him firing off two guns and then finding his stash of weapons in the car. rofl.

And Ava. Demon or taken?

I know. Except for Dean maybe having to keeeel Sammich someday being made canon rather than a fanon thing, we didn't actually get anything we didn't already know.

I was a little disappointed. But then Gordon beat up Dean and tied him up and.... I kinda just forgot everything else. hehehe.

Ava... I was thinking she was deeeeemonic. And maybe just didn't want one of her investments to bite the dust?

I think there has to be some sort of significance to the 4 children. I have no idea what that is, but if they were supposed to be the most important, why would the Demon let two of them be killed so easily? I wonder ...

And Ava. Demon or taken?

I had an interesting thought after the episode, since I was thinking about Croatoan ... we don't really know what controls these visions that Sam (and Ava) get. Maybe the Demon knew that Gordon was going to kill Sam, and sent the vision to Ava to stop him. Maybe Ava was already evil at that point, already following the demon's orders, and he just hadn't told her to kill her fiance yet. And after Sam took off, then she did what she had to do ...

I really kind of like the idea of having one of these "children" with the exact same powers as Sam being evil, because then we can see what his potential would be if he "turned." Because really, I'm not sure how useful a person with visions might be in some mythic war brewing (unless Sam begins to develop new powers, which would be FANTASTIC!).

Either way, there's a lot of huge questions that still need answered, but in the meantime? Jo's missing (and probably ratted Sam out to Gordon, the little bitch - score one for the fangirls, though!) and next week's episode looks FANTASTIC.

Woot for hiatus being OVER!!!

Last night's ep could have been better, but it was still good. I actually clapped, when the cops showed up. XD Daddy-kins thought I was nuts.

We actually had a chat about the Ava (demon or victim?) bit too. He thinks she's a demon, I think she was taken by the guy from Croatoan. It's too convenient that they'd have him show up right before all this shit hits the fan, and then have one of the psychics disappear, and not have the two be releated at all. And, yeah, she could have been one of the yellow-eyed demon's children, but I think it's alluding to something more than that. I think it's time for the psychics to begin being collected. :)

I'm probably wrong, though. I seem to be able to come up with very good arguments for things that turn out to be completely against what happens in cannon, lately. So, who knows? We'll have to wait to find out.
