I think there has to be some sort of significance to the 4 children. I have no idea what that is, but if they were supposed to be the most important, why would the Demon let two of them be killed so easily? I wonder ...

And Ava. Demon or taken?

I had an interesting thought after the episode, since I was thinking about Croatoan ... we don't really know what controls these visions that Sam (and Ava) get. Maybe the Demon knew that Gordon was going to kill Sam, and sent the vision to Ava to stop him. Maybe Ava was already evil at that point, already following the demon's orders, and he just hadn't told her to kill her fiance yet. And after Sam took off, then she did what she had to do ...

I really kind of like the idea of having one of these "children" with the exact same powers as Sam being evil, because then we can see what his potential would be if he "turned." Because really, I'm not sure how useful a person with visions might be in some mythic war brewing (unless Sam begins to develop new powers, which would be FANTASTIC!).

Either way, there's a lot of huge questions that still need answered, but in the meantime? Jo's missing (and probably ratted Sam out to Gordon, the little bitch - score one for the fangirls, though!) and next week's episode looks FANTASTIC.

Woot for hiatus being OVER!!!
