So my laptop "Sam" has died. The graphics card is pretty much dead and I don't think he'll make it back from the dead. I can barely get it into Safe Mode anymore.

So that means that my mini laptop, "Seabiscui"t is taking over for now. I have no money for a new full sized computer until I get a job sometime in December-January or so.

I also made a bad discovery some months ago. The MS Paint Program was changed.

the Windows 7 MS Paint program.

For YEARS the Paint program has not changed. And now they changed it and it's crap. It's trying to be photoshop and failing so hard. I find it's use frustrating, confusing, features are hidden or taken out, the brush sizes are no longer the same, etc.

Making this comic made me angry but I had to do it.

I'm not enjoing Season 8 because we've gone backwards. It's S1 all over again. I don't believe Sam would not look for Dean, because he. was. not. dead. OR locked in Hell, or in a Cage - he was blown away somewhere. He was MISSING. So I call complete and utter bullshit on that.

And Sam, honey? You can't go back to college. You were on the FBI's Most Wanted list at least 3 times, remember?

Where's Azazel and Brody when you need them?

I haven't been on LJ in forever, so I have no idea what the opinion on Season 8 is.

With the Paint stuff and my lack of time, this will unfortunately be the first year without a Halloween Paint!Winchester comic. If I find a good alternate program, maybe there might be one in the future, but at this point I really can't promise anything.

I'm sorry you've had so much trouble with the Paint program, but I've missed Paint!Winchesters so much. I'm just happy to see them again.

By the way -- I'm not buying it. Something is definitely up with Sam. All his oars are not in the water.
